Ontario SEO’s Take on Google’s #WeArePartners Contest

Recently, the Ontario SEO team was tasked with coming up with a creative way to represent our team in a selfie challenge as part of Google’s #WeArePartners contest. The contest was a chance for Google Partners from around the world to take a creative selfie showcasing their team. Agencies from around the world took to Twitter to share their take on the challenge. Teams shared selfies, photoshopped images, and fun prop-filled pictures that followed variations of a “partner’s” theme.

Partners in Digital Marketing

Our team got together to discuss and brainstorm some ideas – who are some great examples of partners? Ontario SEO is more than just a digital marketing agency – we are certified Google Partners and we love sharing our knowledge and expertise with clients as their “partners in digital marketing”. We wanted to represent that partnership in a fun and creative way. After some discussion, we all agreed (thanks to our mutual love of desserts) that there is no pairing quite as iconic as milk and cookies! Alas, our #GotLeads campaign was born!

The concept of #GotLeads stems from our ability to deliver more than just vanity metrics when it comes to digital marketing. To us, what matters most is delivering a comprehensive marketing strategy that is specific to the needs of each business. We fully evaluate our client’s customer’s path to purchase in order to develop a strategy that delivers real results, and real leads.

We decided to have some fun with this concept and we got together to host a photo shoot reminiscent of the iconic early 2000’s Got Milk campaign – complete with real cookies and milk moustaches.
